Techno

“Techno” (September 2009)

Quick note: Go here to see music by Jay Oliver… an amazing musician and X-Plane-a-holic.. it is not techno, but it is amazing!

OK now on to the techno!

OK so one of the things that keeps my coding X-Plane for hours and hours and hours and hours is TECHNO.

Good techno plus a bit of iced tea or iced coffee or BAWLS energy-drink plus a well-air-conditioned work environment plus new features to put in X-Plane (or new speed or RAM to wring out of it) can have me running for 8 hours without stopping.

Now, sometimes people ask me what techno I listen to, so here are a few favorite albums or songs.. sample them on ITUNES for FREE, and then BUY them a ITUNES if you LIKE them!

SONG : ALBUM : ARTIST

L’aventurier : L’aventurier : Indochine – THIS IS SO HILARIOUS IT IS KRAZEE! YOU GOTTA TRY THIS ONE OUT!

I Remember : Random Album Title : Deadmau5 & Kaskade – This is some really good stuff

Slip : Random Album Title : Deadmau5 – This is some really good stuff

Pills : Experiment : Cedric Gervais – This is high-energy. I almost crashed my Corvette pulling over to write down the song when it came on XM-Radio.

: Slumdog Millionaire (Music from the Motion Picture) : – This is varied and fun

: Red Planet (Music from the Motion Picture) : – Really cool stuff. Montok point is a favorite here for sure, and some Peter Gabriel stuff on this one as well

: Wicked (Music from the Broadway Play) : – This is a coolr soundtrack than you can imagine.. You may have to listen a few times to get it, though!

50 Ways to Leave Your Lover (MacQ Radio Mix) : : Plummet – This is a nice little track.. a cool sound to it.

No More Gas : www.djearworm.com : DJ Earworm – This guy is amazing! He blends all music in the coolest way. You really need to give this guy a listen.

Britney’s Leaving Home (Britney Spears vs. The Beatles ) : www.djearworm.com : DJ Earworm – Ditto above… this is one of the coolest songs.

Not a Lot Left : Not a Lot Left / the Beach : Myon & Shane 54 – This is a nice little piece.

Rotorblade : Beyond the Infinite : Juno Reactor – This is a pretty decent album.. easy to listn to while working.

Crazy ‘Lil Mouse : Soundtrack to the movie BANDITS: In Bloom – This is NOT really ‘techno’, but is near the top of my ‘most played’ list, so here it is.

Swollen : The Chillout Session : Bent – This is great stuff! Mellow, but will not put you to sleep. Really nice.

I Remember Johny : Programmed to Love : Bent – This is great stuff! Mellow, but will not put you to sleep. Really nice.

Private Road : Programmed to Love : Bent – This is great stuff! Mellow, but will not put you to sleep. Really nice.

IF YOU CAN GET A NICE HIGH-QUALITY STEREO, PUT IT IN CONCERT-HALL MODE TO GET A LITTLE ECHO, AND LISTEN TO ‘Private Road’, IT WILL REALLY BE NICE.

Decksandrumsandrockandroll: The Propeller-Heads – This stuff is by Alex Gifford, AKA ‘PropsMan’ at X-Plane.org… you will hear some stuff from Lost in Space and the Matrix on this album!

Ok so there is a tiny sample… I have more, but not all of it is appropriate for all ages, so that is the good stuff that I can recommend to anyone.
